What are the two things you should probably always buy in a store?

For us, it’s jeans and shoes—there’s just too much variation in sizes and comfort levels to risk shopping online. But we need at least five pairs of new shoes every year, and peeling ourselves off the sofa every time is, well, a lot of effort.

That’s where shoe subscriptions come into play. They’re like shopping in a super-curated store without leaving the couch. Some of the best subscriptions even have quizzes to help you find the perfect shoes for your personality, while others offer limited-release items before anyone else. We did the work for you and sorted through all of them. Here are our five favorite shoe subscriptions.

You’ll probably recognize this one from their very … enthusiastic commercials, and they offer a style quiz to gauge your personal fashion preferences. Everyone from Jenna Dewan Tatum to Ariel Winter has been spotted wearing JustFab shoes, and celebrities (like Avril Lavigne) have collaborations with the company.

What It Costs: $39.95/month, unless you use their new “Skip the Month” feature which won’t charge you for a selected month. If you join right now, you’ll get two pairs for $39.95 (what is this sorcery?!). Once you’re a member, you can save up to 25 percent off the retail prices and get access to their private sales and events.

Kim Kardashian co-founded this site, so you know she used her business instincts to make it an addictive experience (have you taken a look at Kardashian’s app?). Like its parent company, JustFab, ShoeDazzle starts every new customer off with a shoe personality quiz. Every question—from your pump of choice to your age range—helps them curate the perfect kicks for you. ShoeDazzle also partners with celebs to offer exclusive shoes. Oh, and did we mention that Rachel Zoe is their ChiefStylist? Yeah, just take that in.

What It Costs: $39.95/month. Use their new “Skip the Month” feature and you won’t be charged for that month.

Avenue A by adidas

If you live in athleisure wear, Avenue A is for you. You’ll get four boxes a year–one for each quarter or season–curated by “fitness’s most famous and fabulous” celebrities. (This winter, it’s Rita Ora.) Shoes aren’t the sole (we had to) focus; each box includes three to five items that could be a “combination of footwear, apparel, and accessories that match your specific size profile.” They’re all limited-release, so you’ll get them before anyone who waits to shop in stores (which is so 2005, right?).

What It Costs: $150/box, and you can opt out anytime before the end of the quarter.

Gilt is less of a subscription service than a really chic online shopping club (it’s owned by the same company as Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue). It sells everything a multi-brand fashionista could dream of, from Alexander McQueen to Stella McCartney and Kendall + Kylie. Unlike the other sites listed here, becoming a member of Gilt is free, but you can’t shop sales or exclusive merchandise without joining. Oh, and just a friendly note: The sales usually last only 36 to 48 hours, so you’ll have to move fast.

What It Costs: Nada! Finally, right? (But many of the clothes are designer, so it all might balance out with individual purchases.)

If flash sales make you giddy, HauteLook is your perfect subscription service. Like Gilt, this is for members only, and it offers amazing brands like Rebecca Minkoff, Frye, and GUESS. The most awesome part (for you, not for your bank account) about HauteLook is that there’s a new sale (at 50 to 75 percent off) to wake up to each morning.

What It Costs: Nothing! Just be prepared to spend on your favorite brands. Hey, they may be discounted, but money’s money, right?
