Sarah Ingle really loves Disney princesses. You could even say she’s obsessed with being one. Fortunately, the obsession hasn’t turned her into a couch potato or a plastic surgery addict.

In fact, Ingle’s love of Disney led her to start a successful business and donate her time to charitable causes. She’s taken her love of classic cartoons and used it as an overwhelmingly positive motivator in her life.

Becoming a Disney princess isn’t easy and it’s definitely not cheap. Ingle hand makes her costumes, which is a painstaking process.

She told Hotspot Media how she makes dresses for each Disney character. “Each dress can take up to six months to make, and I source many different materials from all over the world, including silk and organza before drawing my final designs,” she said. “I’m very fortunate to have a full-time job that pays for the beautiful dresses and material because I’m so passionate about looking the best that I can for the performances.”

In addition to the dresses, every character has a specific wig. Ingle loves every princess and she doesn’t cut corners. That means that her dress, hair, makeup, and even eye color must be spot on.

Ingle explained her extensive preparations in detail. She said, “I have a different wig and makeup look for each princess. I have to contour my face when I play Aurora from Sleeping Beauty because my face is much rounder than hers. And as I have hazel eyes, I have to wear blue contact lenses for the Little Mermaid and Elsa from Frozen.”

Ingle has spent approximately $14,000 on her dresses, wigs, and other accessories. That may seem extravagant, but she has a great day job that enables her to spend money on the passion she loves.

She can also consider some of that money an investment, as she has started a business with her boyfriend. Princess Ever After employs young women to dress as Disney princesses and visit birthday parties and other events. The website of the fledgling business is full of enthusiastically positive reviews.

Princess Ever After employs 22 other young women besides Ingle. Customers can choose from among 20 different characters and combine them however they want.

The company has all of the familiar names you’d expect, like Belle, Ariel, and Pocahontas. They also have a Galactic Warrior and Galactic Princess for young girls who prefer sci-fi over fantasy.

Ingle also donates her time to those who need cheering up. She told the story of visiting a young cancer survivor and the impact the visit had on both of them.

“I’ll never forget the day that I was asked to perform for a little girl who was celebrating the beginning of a break from her cancer treatments. Seeing her face light up as she sang along with me was just incredible and it was just the most amazing day.”

Ingle seems to have found a niche that provides her with inspiration and spreads joy to others who share her love of all things Disney. We love seeing passionate people succeed while donating their time to those in need. Ingle may not have an official royal title, but she’s a true princess in our book.
