It could be all of the remakes and reboots that are out today, but it feels like the ’90s just happened. Of course, that’s not quite true.

The earliest part of that decade is almost 30 years old. Still, some of the ’90s most iconic stars have never stopped working and still look amazing. These actresses were on every television screen in America in their heyday. See if you can still recognize them.

1. Selma Blair

Blair’s specialty was portraying bad girls, but by all accounts she’s as nice as can be. She was Hollywood’s it girl in the late ’90s, and had roles in many of the era’s most famous movies.

Blair has dropped off the radar a couple of times, but she always pops up again. After her early career, she became internationally famous for her portrayal of Liz Sherman in the Hellboy franchise.

Most recently she portrayed Kris Jenner in The People v. O.J. Simpson: A Crime Story. She truly has a resume of diverse performances.

2. Jodi Sweetin

This child star who portrayed Stephanie Tanner had a much publicized battle with drugs after the series Full House ended. Thankfully, she cleaned up and says her life has much improved since becoming sober.

She thrilled fans by agreeing to be in the Full House reboot Fuller House. She and the rest of the gang proved that they still have chemistry as the show has been renewed for a third season. Sweetin also made a deep run in Dancing With the Stars, showing how multi-talented she is.

3. Sarah Michelle Gellar

Gellar is one of the few actresses who has had a successful film career overshadowed by her television career. That’s mostly due to the still-popular Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Joss Whedon’s series was both critically acclaimed and highly watched, and Gellar was the engine that drove it.

Even while filming the seven successful seasons of the show, Gellar starred in films. She is best known for her roles in Cruel Intentions and the terrifying horror film The Grudge.

4. Meg Ryan

Ryan skyrocketed in popularity after 1989’s When Harry Met Sally. After that wildly successful rom com, Ryan had a decade of being America’s leading lady.

Sleepless in Seattle, When a Man Loves a Woman, and You’ve Got Mail are just a handful of the blockbusters Ryan starred in. The accomplished star took a short break from acting in the early 2010s, but has recently showed up in movie credits again, even directing and starring in the 2016 film Ithaca.

It’s hard to overstate how famous Flockhart became due to her portrayal of feisty lawyer Ally McBeal. Women loved her even though she wasn’t a traditional feminist icon. McBeal won a Golden Globe and landed on the cover of Time because of the popular character.

McBeal has continued nabbing television roles in recent years, including a number of voice acting jobs for animated shows.  She continues to flaunt a very lean figure, which has been a lightning rod for critics through her entire career.
