Mark Wahlberg is a father of two young daughters. Like most fathers, he’s very protective of them and wants all young men to think long and hard before trying to date them. He recently called out one specific young man and told him to stay away from his young girls.
He and model Rhea Durham have been dating since 2001 and married in 2009. In that time, the couple has actually had four children together, two boys and two girls.
His oldest child, daughter Ella, is about to turn 14 and, like most teenage girls, her attention has turned to the boys in her class. She also has a crush on many celebrities, which is typical for that age.
Because of her father, however, she actually has a chance to meet some of these heartthrobs. One heartthrob, in particular, has caught the attention of Wahlberg and he’s sending out a warning: if he tries to date Wahlberg’s daughter, he’s dead.
Bieber is known for having dated many young women, some for just one night and some for a bit longer. He takes full advantage of being a young, hot singer that is adored by women everywhere. When Ella revealed that she had a crush on him, her father was not happy.
Ella actually told her father that she was going to one day marry Justin Bieber. Wahlberg laid down the law and said, “Over both of your dead bodies. I’ll just go back to jail.”
Wahlberg was referencing the time he spent in prison for an attempted murder charge in 1987. The charges stemmed from two separate attacks of Vietnamese Americans that were reportedly racially motivated.

When he was released from prison, he realized that he needed to turn his life around. Three of his brothers and one of his sisters had all done time and he didn’t want to end up like that.
He devoted himself to the straight and narrow, eventually becoming a model for Calvin Klein. That modeling career would lead to a music career, which included the Grammy-nominated song “Good Vibrations” with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
Today, he’s a good father and a good husband. He’s stayed clean and has had a great career as an actor. It’s clear that he’s learned his lesson and doesn’t want to go back to jail.
Unless, of course, his daughter tries to marry Justin Bieber. That is apparently too much for him to handle and he may just lose it again. It’s hard to say if he’s serious or joking, but if we were Justin and Ella, we’d stay away from each other just to be safe.
