An intricate aspect of being a rapper as talented as Freddie Gibbs is in his storytelling ability. That said, it makes perfect sense that that skill translates outside of the booth, as he appeared in an episode of Pitchfork.tv’s animated series “Frames.”

Garbed in a proper ESGN hoodie with a fitted had and freshly rolled blunt in tow, Gangsta Gibbs in cartoon form recalls a time Michael Jackson, the pride and joy of their hometown, Gary, Ind., returned to the city. Without giving up too many clues, the story includes the legendary entertainer, his patented rhinestone glove, and a Kentucky Fried Chicken.

And we say all of this to reach this point: Morgan Freeman, watch out. There’s a new narrator in town. Peep Freddie Gibbs in “Frames” below.
