If you’re the son or daughter of a celebrity, you’re already pretty fortunate.
And thanks to your genetics, you might be the spitting image of your famous parents. That’s useful if you’re looking to get into acting, modeling, or basically any other glamorous career.
In some cases, the likeness is startling. Here’s a look at a few celebs and their lookalike daughters—try not to be too shocked by the similarities.
1. Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber
Sure, Kaia Gerber is only 14, but she’s already starting to look like her mother. That’s certainly not an insult—when your mother is one of the most famous supermodels of all time, you probably don’t mind the resemblance.
Kaia has already started modeling, appearing in magazines like Teen Vogue, and she’s represented brands like Versace Kids. Her mother, on the other hand, has officially retired from modeling, so it’s up to Kaia to carry on the family legacy.
2. Reese Witherspoon and Ava Philippe
Actress Reese Witherspoon admits that her 17-year-old daughter, Ava Philippe, is basically her doppelganger. By the way, Ava’s father is actor Ryan Phillippe.
“I do see the resemblance,” Witherspoon told Vanity Fair. “She’s a beautiful person inside and out. She’s just a good soul. I’m not sure what she thinks. I’m just ‘Mom’ to her. We’re happy to share this wonderful experience. I really have a rich, personal relationship with my daughter. I have a really great career, and it’s nice to be able to share it with my kids.”

But Gummer, 33, says that her mother inspired her to take up acting.
“It looked to me that [Meryl Streep] just went and played make-believe. And I was like, ‘Awesome–me too, please,'” she told The Telegraph.
“All I want to do is talk about people and their feelings and why they do the things that they do and analyze that. And that’s what we get to do as a job.”
Gummer also noted that her mother didn’t really discuss her celebrity with her family.
“Her priority was being our mother, not being a celebrity, and it certainly wasn’t like we had Warren Beatty to the house every Thursday. One of the smartest things my parents did was to move to the country when we were small.”
