Kevin Harlan was on the call for the Elite 8 matchup between the Syracuse Orange and the Virginia Cavaliers in this weekend’s NCAA Tournament. Syracuse, a 10 seed, pulled off the unthinkable by knocking off one seed Virginia after trailing by 13 points in the second half. The ‘Cuse went on a 20-4 run that spanned over a five minute period to earn a trip to Houston in this year’s Final Four. Harlan however, made a comment after the buzzer sounded that have many people critical of his choice of words.

With yesterday being Easter Sunday, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is understood why Harlan’s comment rubbed some people the wrong way. There are certain lines that are not to be crossed, and religion is certainly one of them. Apology statement soon come.
